Customize Quality USB-C Chargers on Budget
Every USB-C charger in Sunshine’s lineup supports full OEM customization — from the PD voltage profile (custom PDO tables configured by our firmware engineering team at no tooling premium) to the physical design (DC connector type, housing color via Pantone/RAL matching, logo pad printing or laser engraving, and regional plug head selection). Our private-label packaging program covers custom retail boxes, UPC/EAN barcode assignment, multilingual safety inserts, and Amazon FBA-ready prep. Over 85% of our USB-C charger orders ship with some level of customization, and our engineering team turns around custom PD profile samples in 5–7 working days.

USB-C Charger Engineering
With 22+ years focused on usb-c charger development, Sunshine has built deep expertise in the compact switching converter topologies that enable high efficiency in small form factors. Our usb-c chargers achieve ≥85% conversion efficiency at full load — critical for meeting DoE Level VI energy standards and minimizing heat in sealed wall-plug housings. The engineering team includes specialists in EMC compliance (FCC Part 15), thermal management, and connector reliability for the specific demands of the usb-c-charger form factor.
Quality Standards & Certifications
Every usb-c charger is manufactured with UL94 V-0 flame-rated housing materials, gold-plated DC connector contacts, and switching components rated for 50,000+ hours continuous operation. Our 6-stage quality control process — IQC, IPQC, 100% electrical testing, 4-hour burn-in aging, FQA (AQL 0.65), and OQC — delivers defect rates below 0.15%. All adapters certified to UL 62368-1.
Custom USB-C Chargers for Your Business
Beyond our standard catalog, Sunshine’s OEM/ODM engineering team develops fully custom usb-c chargers to your exact specifications. Custom voltage/current combinations, specialized DC connectors (JST, Molex, custom pins), extended DC cable lengths (0.5m–5m), waterproof or outdoor-rated enclosures, and medical-grade isolation are all available at MOQ 3,000. Global Shipping & Dual-Factory Production
Our dual-factory production spans Changzhou, China (established 2001, 600+ workers) and Vinh Phuc, Vietnam (established 2018, 1,000+ workers). The Vietnam facility provides a China+1 sourcing strategy for tariff optimization on US-bound shipments — identical quality processes, certifications, and production capabilities across both sites. Annual combined capacity exceeds 20 million power adapter units. Standard lead time is 25–35 days from order confirmation. We support multiple logistics methods including FOB, CIF, DDP, and direct-to-Amazon FBA fulfillment.

USB-C Charger Manufacturer FAQ
What types of USB-C chargers does Sunshine manufacture?
We manufacture fixed-voltage USB-C wall chargers (5V/3A), multi-voltage PD chargers (5V/9V/12V/15V/20V), GaN multi-port chargers (45W–100W), and USB-C travel chargers with interchangeable plugs. Output ranges from 15W to 100W.
What is the difference between a USB-C charger and a PD charger?
USB-C refers to the connector type. PD (Power Delivery) is a voltage negotiation protocol. All PD chargers use USB-C, but not all USB-C chargers support PD. A fixed 5V/3A USB-C charger has a USB-C port but no PD negotiation. A PD charger offers multiple voltage rails (5V/9V/12V/15V/20V) selected automatically by the device.
Do your USB-C chargers work with iPhones?
Yes — iPhone 8 and later support USB-C charging. iPhone 15+ has a native USB-C port. Earlier iPhones use a USB-C to Lightning cable. Our USB-C chargers with PD support enable fast charging on all compatible iPhones.
Do you offer GaN technology chargers?
Yes — our GaN Charger lineup includes 45W, 65W, and 100W models. GaN (Gallium Nitride) transistors enable 40% smaller form factors than silicon-based chargers at the same wattage, with efficiency above 92%.
What certifications do your USB-C chargers carry?
UL 62368-1 (US/Canada), FCC Part 15 Class B, CE (EU LVD + EMC), RoHS, REACH. GaN models additionally carry DoE Level VI efficiency. Multi-region plug variants carry region-specific safety marks.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
MOQ 1,000 stock, 3,000 custom (PD profile, housing color, logo, plug region). Lead time 25–35 days. Samples 3–7 days.
How does USB-C charging compare to USB-A?
USB-C supports higher power (up to 240W via PD EPR) and bidirectional power flow. USB-A is limited to 5V/2.4A (12W). USB-C is the future-proof standard — mandated by EU regulation and adopted by all major device manufacturers. USB-A chargers remain relevant for cost-sensitive bundling with lower-power devices.
